Our school

Injune P-10 State School is a Prep to Year 10 campus. The primary section of the school was established in 1921 with Alfred Biggs as first Principal. The secondary wing was added in 1963 when Year 8 first moved to high school. In 2014 the first Year 7 class moved to secondary schooling.

With the mission statement and values in mind, our focus is on:

  1. Quality teaching and learning – improving outcomes for students by explicit teaching of literacy and numeracy for all students and targeted teaching for students with learning difficulties.
  2. Student family and community engagement - supporting genuine partnerships between the school, the P&C Association and the community through a consultative process involving the school and the parents in informed decision making.
  3. A positive school enhancing student wellbeing - developing positive relationships between all members of the school community (staff, students and parents) enhances a positive school culture and wellbeing.
