Weekly Classroom Feature: Injune State School at the 2019 Music Fest

On Sunday the 10th of November, over 100 students and their families converged into  Roma to perform, entertain and delight the awaiting crowd for the annual MusicFest concert. This performance event has a rich history, stretching back decades and thousands of participants. It aims to display the hard  work  and  talents  of  the students involved in the Instrumental Music Program around the Maranoa.
This year, six students from Injune attended MusicFest, representing their school with pride. They performed a number of songs in their bright Instrumental  Performance uniform, delighting the crowd with their  vigour and enthusiasm for playing their instruments. They also performed an original composition that they had composed, and were the only school in the concert to accomplish such a feat. Overall, they had a fantastic time and got to collaborate with other instrumental students in the Maranoa, establishing a   special bond that exists through the making of music.
We thank Maranoa Music Incorporated for hosting  MusicFest this year, and for providing motivation for our students to continue improving their skills. A huge thank you must also go to the parents, who travelled with and encouraged their children on the day. Without your continued support, events like MusicFest would not continue.
Happy music making!!
