A message to you from Injune State School Principal, Mrs Sue Anderson

Welcome to Injune State School.

Congratulations on choosing Injune State School as the school for your child/children. We are delighted to have you as part of our school community. We have built a well-earned reputation as a school of quality. Staff members are enthusiastic, highly skilled in their areas of responsibility and dedicated to building a healthy, vibrant community of which we can all be proud of. Parents take an active interest in their children’s education and participate in the school’s development in many ways.
Children are our most valuable asset at Injune State School. We seek to develop personal strength and talent through dynamic learning programs that support children’s intellectual, social, physical, cultural and spiritual development.

At Injune State School, our aim is to provide quality educational programs for all students, preparing each child academically, emotionally, socially and physically, by providing the best possible learning environment. When making decisions at our school we keep this aim at the forefront of our minds. Our mission at Injune State School is “The promotion of excellence in a supportive environment”. This means that we strive to reinforce the importance of learning in a supportive environment for our students, our staff and our parents.

We provide the individual care and attention required for children to achieve at their highest possible level. At Injune State School you will see:

      • Languages Other Than English (French) is offered from Years 5 - 8.
      • In primary classes in The Arts, Music, Art and Drama are offered.

  • Staff, children, parents and our local community working together

  • A Social-skills program that aims to assist our students to make responsible safe life choices
